From January 19 to 23, 2025, the Winter Dispatch Program was held as part of the International Community Service Program (KKN). This program is the result of cooperation between Mataram University, National University, and Seoul National University.
Preparation for this program had begun three months earlier with a series of Korean language training that was open to the public. The training included EPS-TOPIK, Basic Korea, Korea for Tourism, Korea for Business, and Digital Business. After completing the training, participants who are members of the International KKN proceed to the Winter Dispatch Program stage, which is the culmination of this activity.
The event began on January 19, 2025 with an opening ceremony that welcomed students from Mataram University, National University, and Seoul National University. In this session, participants were given an overview of the series of activities that would take place over the next five days.
Furthermore, students from the three universities were divided into groups to teach in training classes that had previously been attended by general participants. This activity became a moment of sharing knowledge and experience, as well as strengthening academic and cultural relations between participants from Indonesia and South Korea.
The highlight of the event took place on January 23, 2025 with the Closing Ceremony of the Winter Dispatch Program. In this closing ceremony, students from all three universities performed their respective cultural performances, creating precious moments that enriched cross-cultural understanding and strengthened friendships between nations.
This program is not only a place for cultural exchange, but also opens up opportunities for wider academic collaboration in the future.
