Hello, allow me to introduce myself, Nuraqilla Waidha Bintang Grendis, an alumna of the Computer Science Department at the University of Mataram, Class of 2017. Currently, I am the recipient of a scholarship from the Government of West Nusa Tenggara to pursue a Master’s degree at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. In addition to my academic pursuits, I am currently employed as a Digital Marketing Strategist at a clothing company in Malaysia.
I sincerely express my deepest gratitude to the Computer Science Department at the University of Mataram for the profound impact it has had on my personal development, particularly in enhancing the skills that have helped me become a professional individual after completing my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science here.
My undergraduate years at the Computer Science Department were truly commendable. I consider myself fortunate to have learned from highly professional and competent professors in their respective fields. They not only delivered course materials but also shared valuable knowledge in social, ethical, and various aspects of life. I have experienced significant positive changes in myself since my time in the lecture halls, and I am convinced that the environment plays a crucial role in shaping one’s character. The Computer Science Department provided numerous opportunities for active engagement in extracurricular activities, offering me extraordinary experiences.
I would also like to express my appreciation to the academic staff of the Computer Science Department, who are truly exceptional. They not only fulfill their duties as academic staff but also consistently and genuinely assist us in overcoming challenges. All of this makes me proud to identify myself as an “Alumnus of the Computer Science Department at the University of Mataram.”
Graduating from the Computer Science Department has instilled in me a strong motivation, especially through interactions with remarkable individuals who supported me in becoming the best version of myself. The aspiration to pursue studies abroad, as exemplified by professors and senior colleagues, is not merely a dream but has now become a reality. The practical relevance of education from the Computer Science Department has significantly aided me in navigating opportunities and overcoming challenges in the professional world.
